This Seminar consists of five days of masterclasses with Maestro Dario Ntaca, a lecture with David Block, as well as a room and board in the magnificent Villa Vorbourg 15. The participants will also be part of the final concert at the FARB Foundation Auditorium.
Pianos will be provided daily for practice at the Villa and at the FARB Foundation in Delémont.
Each participant/group gets a daily lesson of 45 minutes and is strongly suggested to be present during the 5-hour daily class where other participants play since debates may take place regarding the repertoire involved.
The repertoire brought by the participants must be from the 18th and 19th centuries. In the case of chamber music, we suggest that a work for piano with strings or wind instruments be selected.
The total cost of the Seminar is 1000 Swiss Francs; it covers room, board, local transportation and the access and participation of all classes. Further details and the complete chronogram will be provided after the enrollment process is finished.
